Yvan LaFontaine has benn a dedicated painter and printmaker since the mid-sixties.
LaFontaine teaches printing, drawing and painting and is extremely dynamic in hi field of work.
Recipient in 1964 of the « Anaconda » award, his has career extended worldwide since 1976.
His art works may be found in museums as well as in institutions and private collections in numerous countries.

LaFontaine uses figurative art to question our vision of the arts.
He makes us look at ourselves while we are contemplaing our own image,
until we lose it in the abyss of looking-glasses that create reflection upon reflection.
